Research, Statistics, and Labor Market Information

On the Third Friday of every month, the Agency for Workforce Innovation (AWI), Labor Market Statistics Department releases new data regarding Florida’s nonagricultural employment and unemployment statistics. The report provides comparisons by county, Florida and the U.S. as well as a recap of any initiatives affecting the labor market. A Florida map showing the average unemployment for each regional workforce board is updated from the prior month. This information is posted monthly as new statistics are released. More detailed statistics are available from AWI for Labor Market Info (LMI) and Florida Research and Economic Development (FRED) using the following web links:
