Employers can recoup up to half of wages paid to workers when pre-approved by Heartland Workforce.

Through on-the-job training for employment, employers earn as their workers learn and are trained to their specifications. Employers gain the added benefit of typically low turnover for such employees after training is completed. 

OJT is particularly encouraged in higher-skill occupations, and can be done in conjunction with classroom training at educational institutions. 

Reimbursements are limited to six months and may not exceed the time required to acquire the skill needed for the position.
